Position Summary
Drivers will be responsible for transporting preloaded dry van trailers between terminals and facilities across a dedicated network. The position involves regional runs and offers regular home time , with a consistent and well-coordinated schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 53’ dry van trailers across assigned lanes.
- Adhere to route schedules and maintain on-time performance.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure accurate Hours of Service (HOS) logging through ELD.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates or support.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent driving experience (verifiable).
- Preffered Clean MVR and no serious safety violations.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts depending on availability.
- Professional attitude and reliable communication.
Schedule & Route Information
- Regional tours covering PA, NJ, NY, MA, OH, and CT.
- Fixed shift tours (13h outbound + 11h break + 13h return = ~37hr total).
- Assigned 2–3 tours per week.
- Home approximately every other day + 1 or 2 days off per week.
Compensation Details
- Weekly average: $1,500 depending on workload and shift.
- Rate per tour: $500
- Additional compensation available for:
- Layovers
- Inspection bonuses
- Referral bonuses
- Urgent route support
